AI Disclaimer
Last updated: 7 September 2026
This Disclaimer forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to all artificial intelligence features of the Lumina service, including chat, summarisation, transcription, code assistance, document drafting, prompt generation, image creation and photographic restoration.
1. Nature of Output
Output is generated by statistical models that predict plausible content. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, internally inconsistent, out of date, biased, or wholly fabricated, including citations, figures, quotations, legal provisions and technical instructions that appear authoritative but do not exist.
2. No Professional Advice
Output does not constitute and must not be relied upon as legal, medical, psychological, pharmaceutical, financial, investment, tax, accounting, insurance, immigration, engineering, construction, aviation, maritime, or occupational safety advice. No lawyer-client, physician-patient, fiduciary or other professional relationship is created by use of the Service. You must obtain advice from an appropriately qualified and licensed professional before acting in any of these fields.
3. Verification Duty
You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying and testing Output before relying upon, publishing, distributing or acting upon it. Where Output is used in a professional, academic, regulated or commercial context, you remain responsible for compliance with all applicable standards, disclosure obligations and duties of care.
4. Code and Automation
Generated code may contain defects, insecure patterns, licensing incompatibilities or unintended side effects. Code must be independently reviewed and tested before deployment. Execution of code within the Service occurs in your browser and is provided for learning and prototyping only.
5. Images, Restoration and Likeness
Image generation and photographic restoration are generative processes. Even where prompts instruct the model to preserve identity, features, expressions, colours, text and background details may be altered or invented. Restored or edited images must not be treated as accurate records and must not be used for identification, forensic, evidentiary, insurance, journalistic verification or medical purposes.
6. Transcription and Notes
Transcripts, speaker labels and summaries are approximate and may misattribute or omit speech. You are responsible for obtaining all consents required by applicable recording, wiretapping and privacy laws before recording any conversation.
7. Web Search Results
Where web results are used, they originate from independent third-party sources whose accuracy, legality and availability we do not control. Cited links are provided so that you can verify claims yourself.
8. Excluded High-Risk Uses
The Service is not designed, certified or authorised for use in circumstances where failure could lead to death, personal injury, or severe environmental or property damage, including medical diagnosis or treatment, critical infrastructure control, autonomous vehicle operation, weapons systems, emergency response dispatch, or automated decisions materially affecting an individual's legal rights, employment, credit or housing.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumina disclaims all liability arising from reliance upon Output, subject to the limitations and exclusions set out in the Terms of Service.
